How we find tools
We track new AI launches daily — official announcements, product updates, and reader suggestions. We prioritize tools with real user demand and tools our readers ask about.
Hands-on testing
We sign up for every tool we review. We test the free plan first, then paid tiers where it matters. We run each tool through real tasks: writing, generating images or video, coding, or whatever the tool claims to do — and we note where it shines and where it breaks.
How we rate (1 to 5 stars)
- Ease of use — how fast a beginner gets results.
- Features — depth and quality of what the tool can do.
- Value for money — what you get at each price tier versus competitors.
- Output quality — the actual results, not the marketing.
- Updates & support — whether the tool is actively improved and supported.
Keeping reviews current
AI tools change fast. We re-check pricing, features, and plans regularly, and every review shows its last-updated date. If a tool shuts down or changes drastically, we update or replace the review.
How we make money (affiliate disclosure)
10tools is free to read. Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects our ratings or rankings — tools cannot pay for better scores, and sponsored placements are always labeled.
